Virtual College Tours
For the very first time, every student can “visit” every college and university in the state of Florida—no matter where they live or what barriers might prevent them from visiting in person. With support from the Florida Legislature and the Florida Department of Education, the VR in Schools Foundation is excited to make it possible for students to explore all 40 of Florida’s public colleges and universities – completely free.
You can explore these campus tours in two ways:
1) Immerse with a VR Headset – For a fully immersive experience, use a Meta Quest headset and download the free Curio app. Join a real tour guide on campus and really feel like you’re there.
2) Watch on YouTube – Don’t have a VR headset? That’s okay—these 360° videos are also available on YouTube. Use your phone, tablet, or computer to look around and learn what each institution has to offer.
Whether you’re a student narrowing down your shortlist of campuses to visit in person, or a counselor helping students explore their options, these tours offer an accessible, highly-engaging way to experience Florida’s colleges and universities – no travel needed.
Is your institution’s 360° video not linked above? That means we’re either currently working on filming it, or we haven’t scheduled it yet. If we haven’t scheduled it yet, email us at schools@VRinSchools.org and we’ll come create a free 360° video for your institution, funded by the Florida Department of Education.
