Mission

Goal #1: For Learners
Bring the benefits of XR to more students by providing a distraction-free, engaging, and immersive learning platform—at no cost.

Goal #2: For Builders
Reduce the cost of building XR content by 80% and collaborate with academic programs to create and share content globally while enabling college students to build portfolios that enhance their job prospects.

Goal #3: For Researchers
Help researchers discover the most effective ways to learn using XR by enabling free or low-cost studies on the platform.

How do we do this?

We do this by pairing subject matter experts (professors, instructors, tutors, teachers, textbook authors) with Unity VR/AR developers to build their dream content. These Unity developers are oftentimes college students who work inside the Curio platform as part of their coursework.

Whether used for classroom sessions, study groups, tutoring, or other learning experiences (both synchronous and asynchronous, remote and in-person), Curio provides innovative learning solutions that can revolutionize education. Our award-winning software has been issued more than 25+ patents and is the official VR partner of the International Collegiate Learning Center Association (ICLCA).

The link below will open the 360° video tour on YouTube. For the best experience:
  1. Increase the video quality in the YouTube video player settings as high as possible (see image on right).
  2. Give the video a moment to load, especially at higher resolutions. Because 360° video files are huge, the video may look blurry at first if YouTube defaults to a lower resolution. If you have a slow internet connection, you may experience buffering when viewing in high quality.
  3. Make sure to ‘look around’ the 360° video using your mouse, finger, or phone movement.
